Body Parts

Mike and I believe in using actual words and not nicknames, to name body parts. Since he began speaking, LB has been very interested in labeling every nook and crannie on his body. We taught LB the word "penis" awhile ago. He pronounces it "pena". About a week or so ago, he was running around the house singing sounds and making up words, at least that it was I thought he was doing, until I REALLY listened to him. "Pena, pena, pppppeeeeeennnnnaaaa!" Great new song isn't it? Pretty catchy too. Mike and I just looked at each other and lost it. How proud my husband was. At least he's fairly normal. Afterall, aren't most men obsessed with their "pena's"?

It's nice to see that your son has discovered a male's primary source of knowledge early in life. May it serve him well!

I always knew it had to start at a young age. Especially since they are all they are so attached to it.

Entirely too funny. Man, the blackmail stories LB's aunties and uncles will be recounting with him! Did you know you can make your blog into a book for posterity, too? These memories are priceless!
