We've been stuck indoors for 2 days now. I'm starting to go a bit stir crazy. There are so many projects I want to be doing, but I can't, because I can't do heavy lifting or be around house paint. Little Bear misses his friends at school and has been climbing the walls. I had my back turned to him while he was engaged with some art supplies. I looked over, and he had bitten the marker pad off the marker. Thank God for non-toxic supplies. He had also decorated his face and legs with it too. That wasn't as troublesome to me as the marker in the mouth. I know, I know... bad mommy! Earlier, when we had out the fingerpaint, he was trying to eat that too.

take it from a pro...a few marker tops are NOTHING!!! Don't fret about a thing :)
Cade spent yesterday sucking on crayons.
LOL!! Next time Owen has a go with his markers and pens, I'll be sure to take a photo! You've nothing to worry about. I've narrowed Owen's future career choices to two things. He'll either be a graffiti artist or a tattoo artist. For some reason, he won't really work on paper. He prefers the hardwood floors, the countertop, the kitchen table, himself or me. He's already ruined one of our kitchen chairs and sucked on a couple of marker tips. They're washable, but I LOVE Fantastik!! - Marisa
I was actually ok with him eating the marker until I told Mike about it and he wanted to know if I'd called the doctor. Of course last night was the first night in a week he slept through the night, so that freaked me out, and I was convinced I'd let my child poisen himself. Luckily, he awoke and was his normal cheerful self!
If you would give him something to eat, maybe he would leave your art supplies alone!!
